An Apology
Sorry this took so long. Because of the size of the snapshot (3 terabytes), I ran into hundreds of timeout issues using Google's default export tools for disks, images, and VMs, but then I realized....why not just give you access to my disk image and you can spin up the file right in the google data centers yourself?
What's Happening Next
Once you sign up, you will see that you have been granted access to the images in my gcp project(gleaming-entry-382504).
What do you need to do
There shouldn't be any need to download anything to your computer. You can just use the built-in cloudshell like I did on the youtube video. https://youtu.be/RWPTsNzJ6UA?si=Ew0xHcmBgNwJ6uTw
- Copy the Image into your project.
- Then you'll need to run this command to do the initial spinup. Fill in the information between the brackets with your information.
